First visit:
The aim of the first visit it to:
- Recognise patient’s concerns (medical assessment), familiarise with other medical results and to hear patient’s expectations regarding the treatment.
Assessment during the first visit concerns:
- Medical history
- Lifestyle
- Specific afflictions (past/present)
It is very important that you bring all the examination results that you possess, including X-ray and/or MRI images and information cards regarding your previous treatments.
- If there is a medical basis, I suggest the most adequate non-invasive methods of treatment from the ones mentioned below:
- Chiropractic by dr Ackermann’s method
- Functional osteopathy
- Cranio-sacral therapy
- Trigger points therapy
- Kinesiotaping of the back, joints, muscles
- Musculo-fascial therapy
- Manual medicine by prof. Lewitt method (Czech school)
- Botulin toxine therapy (spasticity, headeache)
- Injection of curative substances to knee joints and juxta-articularly
- Therapy of knee joints by the Platelet Reach Plasma factors (PRP)
- Pharmacotherapy
- Homoeopathic supportive therapy
- After the therapy I propose a rehabilitation plan for the patient to carry out at home. This may include a comprehensive exercise programme.
A control visit is also scheduled to assess progress of every therapy. During this visit I evaluate the outcomes of the treatment and based on the results I make adequate further recommendations, if necessary.
- In medically justified cases there is a possibility of:
- Receiving a sick leave – L4
- Receiving a medical certificate
- Receiving a medical prescription
- Prescription for accordingly selected prosthetic-orthotic supply as well as medical technical aid, orthoses (joint stabilisers, crutches), orthotic insoles
- Prescription for physiotherapeutic treatment
